Where it all began...
Picture this—2018. I was a working, single mother to a one-and-a-half-year-old little boy. Every day, I showed up: going to work, coming home to care for my beautiful son, and doing my best to be the loving, present mom he deserved. But deep down, I felt a pull—a quiet desire for more. I knew there was a creative side of me waiting to break free. I just didn’t know where to start.
Candles had always been a part of my life. Even back in high school and college, I found comfort in burning dollar-store candles to ease my stress. They didn’t last long, but they brought me peace—and I kept going back for more. Eventually, curiosity led me to research what made a quality candle. I learned about wax types, fragrances, wicks, and the health effects of different ingredients. The more I learned, the more passionate I became.
That spark turned into something real. I began crafting my own candles—clean-burning, slow-burning, and full of scent and soul. It became more than a hobby. It became a form of healing, a creative outlet, and a new path forward.
Now, with two amazing sons by my side, I’m walking in my purpose and turning my passion into a business. Every candle I make is handmade with love, guided by faith. I pray over my work and ask God to bless every person who supports this journey. Through Him, I’ve found strength in hard times, creativity in the chaos, and light even in dark seasons.
